Events & Reception

Welcome to the windhouse, a gallery within a gallery, caught up in an airy torrent of aeolian politics where the materiality of Binnizá (Zapotec) poetry becomes entangled with a strange familiarity of wind in the weather world.

poetryAeolian Politics is open from the 17-22 of November, 2015 at the Emmanuel Gallery.

Tuesday- Friday | 10am-6pm
Saturday | 11am-5pm
Sunday | 11am-2pm

In addition to the exhibition itself we encourage you to participate in the various associated events, including a reception, a poetry workshop, artists’ discussion.  There are also a number of related events at the meetings of the American Anthropological Association, including: “Ethnographic Terminalia Roundtable: Exhibiting Anthropology at the Terminus” and “Roundtable: Force and Power in the Anthropocene”
